MSNBC chief White House correspondent Hallie Jackson was in the city Monday morning with a live broadcast from the Bangor waterfront.

In a tweet, Jackson said the network would be talking with U.S. Sen. Susan Collins from "beautiful Bangor."

Jackson's tweet features three director's chairs with the MSNBC logo with the Penobscot River in the background.

The live broadcast lasted from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday.

The appearance is part of the network's "Outside the Beltway" series. One segment asked Mainers what advice they would give President Donald Trump. Another segment included an pre-recorded interview with U.S. Sen. Angus King, who led a tour of western Maine on his motorcycle.

Below is video of the interview with Collins, who discussed world affairs and the 2020 election.

And here's the segment with King.
