October 13, in Columbia, Maine, at the Balsam Valley Amphitheater, country music's Lee Greenwood--God Bless the USA-- is set to perform for a very special event organized by Wreaths Across America entitled: 'A Day of Honor and Remembrance.'

It's a full day centered around the removal and transportation of the perpetually lit tree 'lights' that now reside at Agamont Park in Bar Harbor. The tree and lights pay tribute to all veterans whose service keeps them from their families during the holiday season.

The Bar Harbor city council voted for removal of the lights citing that it could be offensive for some.

The day begins at 8:00 am at Agamont Park; a special 'private' ceremony at 11:00am; a concert with Lee Greenwood and other performers at 2:30pm; and it all ends early evening with the unveiling of the new perpetually lit Christmas tree and fireworks display.
