Job Fair at Hollywood Slots Hotel & Raceway

Hollywood Casino Hotel & Raceway is holding a job fair on Wednesday. Although folks can get information about how to apply for all positions in the facility, this job fair is specifically for anyone interested in being a table games dealer at the Casino.

I spoke with Scott Welch of Hollywood Casino Hotel and Raceway yesterday. He said that there's been an important change in the process this year. In the past, table games dealers had to go to Eastern Maine Community College for training, at their own cost. But now, that training is being done at the Casino, free of charge!

Folks attending the job fair will learn how to apply for jobs at Hollywood Casino Hotel & Raceway and will attend a training session to learn more about what's required. A quick math test will also be part of the process.
