Crew battled a fire at a home in Hampden Saturday morning that left a family homeless.

The fire was reported just after 3:00 at a house on Main Road North. WABI-TV reports four people were home when the fire broke out, but were able to make it out safely. The Red Cross is assisting the family.

Investigators from the State Fire Marshal's Office will now work to determine what sparked the blaze.

We'll update this story as more details become available.
