Power Outage Update for Bangor Area + Downeast Maine

Bangor Hydro Electric line crews assisted by crews from out of state and Canada have made amazing progress in restoring service to those without power. At 12 noon, there were 1,551 customers without power, but as of 9 PM, the outages have been reduced to just more than 350 customers.

A group of workers from Bangor Hydro came to our house last night and insured that we would not lose the power we were so relieved to have had restored on Friday.
