April 12, 2013 One of the things I love about Cindy's Roadhouse is that people call and ask me about music I'm not familiar with. Now, the downside to that is that I probably can't play it...but the upside is that I'll then go into YouTube and find it. And sometimes I'm pleasantly surprised, like yesterday when a caller said "You really need to hear this song by Celtic Thunder. It's awesome." He was right!
April 11, 2013 It's that time of year again! Time for a celebration of bluegrass, in memory of a man whose life was all about music. Time to gather together to play, listen, remember, and raise money to further the futures of the next generation. The 13th Annual Slim Clark Memorial Scholarship Show will be held Saturday, May 4th in Hartland!
April 11, 2013 Candice Glover wowed the judges this week with an amazing performance of The Cure's "Lovesong." Wow! On a night of less-than-impressive offerings, Candice hit this one out of the park. Notice at the end of the song, Keith Urban is bowing and scraping!
April 10, 2013 When I think of Andy Dick, I think of that quirky, weird guy with glasses from "News Radio." Or I think of someone who's had plenty of trouble with the law as he's battled drug issues. His off-beat, often vulgar humor also comes to mind. But when I think of Andy Dick, I don't think grace and warm fuzzies. But that's what he conveyed this week on "Dancing With the Stars."

April 4, 2013 Spring is all about colors. Grass turning green. Colorful flowers poking up through the soil. Bright yellow sunshine! But we're a little short of most of those right now. It's a typical early spring in Maine...lots of brown! So when I saw this video, I just had to share it. Not only is it full of bright colors, but it looks like fun!
