March 5, 2013 A Massachusetts teenager who has been missing since Sunday near Sugarloaf has been found safe and sound. 17-year-old NIcholas Joy was found on the Caribou Pond Road, which is a snowmobile trail on the west side of the mountain. Rescuers say he had built a shelter to survive the long winter nights.

The Bangor Police Department will be holding its first Citizen's Police Academy, beginning Wednesday, March 13, 2013. The 8 week program will consist of one class each Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the police department.
