And so I'm excited about the newest movie, with a newer, younger cast! Zachary Quinto is a very convincing-looking Spock. Wow!

A fundraiser is being held this Sunday in Brewer for a local musician who's recovering from a tragic accident. Ricky Carter, Jr. is best known as the elder member of "The Carter Boys." I was pleasantly surprised this week when a friend from Sony Entertainment in Nashville surprised me with a donation for the auction - a beautiful Rogue acoustic guitar signed by country star Chris Young!
