Bangor Police say an elderly Brewer man is in the hospital after being hit by a vehicle.

Where Did This Happen?

Lieutenant Jason Stuart says the incident happened just before 5:30 Monday afternoon. Members of Bangor's Police and Fire Departments responded and found an 89-year-old man from Brewer who had been struck by a vehicle. The vehicle was being driven by a 79-year-old man from Bangor.

What Do We Know About the Pedestrian?

The Brewer man was transported to a local hospital, where Stuart says he remains in stable condition. There's no indication that the driver was hurt. Police have not released the names of the men involved in the incident.
