The body of a missing swimmer was recovered this morning by members of the Maine Warden Service. The 21-year-old man went missing last night while swimming with a friend.

WABI-TV reports that Jordan Cummings of Anson was swimming with a friend in the Kennebec River last night. At some point, Cummings had some sort of problem and went under the water. The friend reportedly tried to help him but lost sight of Cummings.

Rescue crews searched last night but couldn't find him. They returned this morning with boats and planes and found Cummings' body.
