God, family, country, and blue collar roots—in that order … that pretty much describes me. I'm a Mainer through and through. After dusting off the snow, I stumbled out of Presque Isle, Maine, back in the late 70’s to attend UMaine, and have never left the Bangor area since. From farm work, logging, aviation, education, and broadcasting, you might say I've lived an adventurous life. I love my wife (the bumper sticker on my truck says so), children, grandkids, church family, my crazy dogs, my ‘ol ‘97 GMC truck, motorcycle, country music, and a cold one once in a while to take the edge off. Be sure to listen in weekday afternoons on Maine’s Fun Country Station…Q-106.5.

Preschool Jitters–Little Boy Comforts Sad Girl [VIDEO]
I remember my first day in first grade at Training School on Academy Street in Presque Isle, Maine. Most of the kids came in pretty excited, as did I. However, there were some that were less than enthusiastic, and the tears began to flow. One of them was the twin brother to someone who would become my best friend all the way through high school...
Jurassic Park Cast 20 Years Later
If you're like me, it seems some of the hit movies I watched years ago just doesn't seem like it was that long ago. And it's always interesting to see how the years have treated some of the characters we've come to know and love. Take for instance the movie 'Jurassic Park...
Tallest Waterslide is the Extreme [VIDEO]
In past summers I've been to a couple of water parks, and although it was fun I can honestly say that they were no where what one might consider extreme. Certainly not like the Schilitterbahn in Kansas City. How extreme? Let's just say they must have to pump new water in and sanitize on a regular basis...
Canadian Patriotism Test–Sing Anthem for Molson Beer [VIDEO]

But Canadians were recently put to the test by the Molson beer company. Quite simply, all one needed to do was sing the Canadian anthem correctly and a fridge full of ice cold Molson beers would open up...

Who ever thought that running a business based on the concept of the 'honor system' could be successful. I bet if you asked someone if they'd start a business using that concept they would think you were nuts. Well, one person decided to open a coffee shop using the honor system business model, and not only are people paying, but he's making a profit...

Cop Pulled Over by Trucker and Gets Earful [VIDEO]
I always try to do my best when I'm traveling the roads, and when I see a police officer driving at a high rate of speed, I always assume that they are heading to some urgent matter somewhere. Never have I thought about pulling a cop over for what I thought might be excessive speeding...
The Mystery of Why Women Shave their Legs [VIDEO]
There are many reasons why we do the things that we do today. For instance, have you ever wondered why women feel compelled to shave their legs? I've been around long enough to know that not all women do. I once knew a woman who had just as much leg hair as me...
Underwater Egg Experiment Cracks Me Up [VIDEO]
It's one of those simple little experiments that you expect to have an amazing result. Well, maybe it would have, but Nemo comes along and ruins the whole thing.
