A tip from the public helped police in Augusta arrest two men for allegedly trafficking heroin and crack cocaine.

Police on Saturday received a tip that two men carrying drugs would be getting off a bus in Augusta, according to a Monday news release from the Augusta Police Department.

Police were given descriptions of the two men, and officers say they observed two individuals matching those descriptions getting off a Concord Coach Lines bus on Industrial Drive.

The release said officers approached the men and ended up seizing 10 grams of Heroin and over 6 grams of crack cocaine.

Allan Nunnally, 28, of Fairfield and Christopher Wilson, 44, of Troy, New York were each charged with unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs.

Nunnally and Wilson were transported to the Kennebec County Jail in Augusta. Bail was set at $30,000 each.
