Believe it or not people who have no connection to the state choose Maine for destination weddings! We are lucky enough to have some great venues all around us. Here are 5 from coastal views to lake side ceremonies. These are not the only places for sure, but we think they are some of the most beautiful!

Camp Roosevelt- Eddington

This is a boy scouts camp in the summer during the week, but weekends are open for weddings. The camp offers a ton of parking, a lodge that can fit 400 people, and catering on site. The backdrop of photos is often the nearby Little Fitts Pond.

French's Point- Stockton Springs

This coastal venue is already perfect for weddings with accommodations for nearly 50 people. The reviews for this venue are very good on all wedding venue review websites with guests raving about the views and flexibility of the venue and staff.

The Lookout at Flye Point- Brooklin

This gem is the furthest from Bangor but it is worth the drive to this hidden inn and venue. This is also a coastal venue with tons of outdoor room for guests. The venue not only has a gorgeous historic inn but also an open field leading to gazebos and the shore.

The Lucerne Inn- Dedham

This is also an inn venue, but this one offers a breathtaking view of Phillips Lake and the surrounding green hills. The inn is elegant and has a good sized reception room indoors. The Lucerne Inn also has a golf course (to help with those pre-marriage jitters).

Meadowbrook Reception Center- Eddington

This venue is closest to Bangor with just a short drive down Rt 9. If a more forested wedding is what you seek, here is the venue! They have a spacious indoor reception hall, but also a perfect setup for outdoor ceremonies. They also offer all inclusive packages to make your day simple!
