Life and death. A bit of a morbid topic given all that is going in the world around us, but contemplation upon such things at times will give you new insights about your current existence and how you would like to live the rest of your life. But what it all boils down to, if you make it to your deathbed, are...regrets.

A nurse who works in palliative care has been at the side of many a patient as they approached the final days, hours, minutes, and seconds of their passing. And in her days of professional work she has heard patients grieve their own deaths spewing truths about how they would have said, lived, or done things differently. Regrets.

I'm pretty sure most of us have them. Oh, how I often wish I could turn back the hands of time to change things. Regrets? I have a few. But it's not too late for any of us to change the things we can and begin to live the one and only life that we've been given.

The nurse I referred to listed the top 5 regrets people had while waiting to die. It's worth reading and contemplating over. Click the picture below to see them.
