Willie Nelson Cancels Vegas Shows Due to Illness
Willie Nelson has some disappointed fans in Sin City. The country music legend has canceled two upcoming performances in Las Vegas due to an undisclosed illness.
Willie Nelson & Family were slated to perform at the Venetian in Vegas for upcoming shows on Jan. 28-29 titled Vegas on My Mind, but in a Facebook post on Thursday (Jan. 26), his team broke the news that those dates would be unable to go forward.
"We regret to inform fans that Saturday, January 28 and Sunday, January 29 performances of Willie Nelson & Family: Vegas On My Mind have been canceled due to recent illness and will not be rescheduled," the post reads. "Performances on February 1, 3 and 4 are still scheduled to take place.
Country Singers Who Have Suffered Tragedy
"Ticket holders for the canceled performances can contact their point of purchase for a refund. You may purchase tickets for the three remaining performances of Willie Nelson & Family: Vegas On My Mind (subject to availability)," the post adds.
Those tickets are available at the Venetian box office, by phone at 866-641-7469, or online at the Venetian's website or via Ticketmaster.
Nelson still keeps up a very active schedule of live appearances, but the 83-year-old music icon has been forced to cancel a few shows due to illness, most recently in November of 2016, when he had to reschedule two shows in Texas.
