It's going to be a wet and windy Halloween night, but the kids will still want to go trick or treating, so we've compiled a list of places to fill their candy bags.

Everyone loves trick or treating. I mean, seriously, if you could get away with it, wouldn't you go out and get free candy? I know I would. So I've compiled a list of some of the places where you can take the kids tonight, to make sure they get plenty of candy. (so you can steal some after they go to bed)

If you know of a trick or treat (or trunk or treat) event that I've missed, please add it in the comments section under this post on our Facebook page. Let's work together to make it a fun and safe Halloween for everyone.

Bangor Police Department - Everyone's invited to a party inside the lobby of the Bangor Police station between 6 and 8 tonight, including trick or treating, sports equipment raffles, and games with prizes (more candy).

Downeast YMCA in Ellsworth - Tonight's trunk or treat is being moved inside the Y's gymnasium from 5 to 7, because of the weather. Unfortunately the parade down Main Street has been cancelled.

Bangor Mall - Kids can walk the mall, gathering candy at each store. 6 to 8 p.m.

Eastern Maine Community College - A Trunk or Treat event will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. In case of rain, the trick or treating will be moved inside the Johnston Gymnasium, on the EMCC campus.

Mill Street in Orono - From 4 to 6 p.m., Mill Street in Orono will be shut down to traffic, for a Trick, Trunk or Treat event for the kids.

Trick or Treat on Water Street - Augusta's Water Street will be scene of a huge Halloween party, complete with trick or treating, bounce houses, live entertainment, and window displays. 5:30 to 8 p.m.

Haunted Lake and Trunk or Treat - Because of the rain, tonight's Trunk or Treat in Lincoln has been moved to the Mattanawcook Junior High School auditorium. Along with the trunk or treat, there will be spooky storytelling from 4 to 8 p.m.

Kenduskeag Fire Department - Firefighters will be handing out candy from 5 to 7 p.m. at the firehouse.
