A 2-Year-Old Child is Dead after a Triple Shooting in Wells

Police say a 2-year-old child has died, and two others are injured, after a triple shooting in Wells.

Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Mills identifies the 2-year-old child as Octavia Huber Young of Wells. She was shot, along with two males Saturday afternoon at a Wells residence. The names of the two males have not been released

State Police have arrested 19-year-old Andrew Huber Young of Wells and charged him with murder. Officials have not commented on his relationship to the victims, but have called this a 'family shooting.'

Andrew Huber Young is being held at the York County Jail with no bail. It's expected that he will face additional charges as the investigation continues.
