‘Welcome To Maine’ Salutes Allen’s Coffee Brandy

These good ol' boys pour a couple glasses of everyone's favorite coffee brandy at Skip's Lounge in Buxton!

The state of Maine is well known for its love of Allen's Coffee Brandy, as it one of the top alcoholic beverages of choice. You know doubt no someone who has ordered a "Fat A** In A Glass" on any given night out at a local watering hole.

A New England treasure and a true Maine tradition, Allen’s initially earned its popularity among fishermen who added a warming splash to their early morning coffee. Allen’s Coffee Flavored Brandy has become a cultural rite of passage. From Kittery to Fort Kent, it is a beverage shared between generations of Mainers.

These 100% Mainah boys, Troy and Mark, have a Facebook page and YouTube channel, called "Welcome To Maine" that pokes fun at all the things that make the state of Maine so unique to the rest of the country. They have covered it all, from red snapper hot dogs, fiddleheads, whoopie pies, ticks, Italian sandwiches, Stephen King's house, Paul Bunyan, and watching New England Patriots games, just to name a few. it was only a matter of time before Allen's made the cut.

In reality, it turns out that Tory and Mark are actually comedians, James Theberge and Ian Stuart. You can see them perform regularly at The Maine Comedy All-Stars shows, and at various places across the state. They have been quite a big hit, and were recently featured in a Bangor Daily News profile.
