Visit Maine State Parks and Earn Prizes with the Maine State Park Passport
Stamp your passport by visiting state parks, the more stamps, the more you win!
This summer be sure to grab a Maine State Parks Passport at your first State Park Visit. The book from the Maine Buerau of Parks and Public Lands offers maps, pictures and descriptions of all of Maine's State Parks.
As you visit parks this summer find the brown box labeled 'Passport Station' and enter the 'secret' code to unlock it and get your stamp. (Hint: The code is no secret, it's the parks established date.) The code is located at the top of the page for the park.
The more stamps you get the more you win. Get 8 stamps for a sticker, 16 for a patch, 24 for a water bottle, 32 gets you a free day pass, 40 gets you 2 nights of free camping in applicable parks, and all 48 get you a free season pass!
If 48 seems like a lot to get in one short Maine summer, don't worry! Your stamp collection can roll over from year to year! Learn more about the Maine State Park Passports here.
