Bangor's City Council has invited the community to attend a candlelight vigil on the front steps of Bangor City Hall at 73 Harlow Street on Sunday the 29th at 6:30 p.m.

This is to honor and pay our respects to those impacted by the horrific events in Lewiston.

So many have been impacted, and the City Council wishes to provide an opportunity for community to come together.

This is a time for conversation with one another, and an opportunity to reflect and remember. All in the hopes that as a community we come together to show support. For all affected by the tragedy and all in our community who are suffering as well.

The Bangor City Council invites community members to attend a candlelight vigil on the front steps of City Hall, 73 Harlow Street, Bangor, ME, on October 29, 2023 @ 6:30 pm to honor and pay our respects to those impacted by the horrific events in Lewiston.

There will be a short program, which will include an ASL interpreter, consisting of statements from members of the clergy, Bangor City Council, Bangor School Committee, Penobscot County Commissioners and our Legislative delegation.

 The event will recognize those that lost their lives and offer moments of silence and reflection.
