Video Shows Several Unusual Visitors Flying Around Bangor Int’l Airport

One stealthy Mainer got some video of an unusual sight at Bangor International Airport.

This video is incredible to watch because of the kind of planes they are (which we don't get to see everyday), the amount of them that were flying around and how close they seem to fly above the tree line.

The video was posted to You Tube by a John Smith (if that is his real name) on March 27th.  The video name states that these are F16s flying near the Bangor airport.  His description of the video sets the scene:

I live about a mile from the airport. I can always see planes coming in and taking off right from my dinig room window over the tree line. I saw fighters coming in and not landing and coming back around and repeating. So I hopped on my bike and rode down to the golf course and recorded this. Excuse my breathing lol.
