According to the latest census, almost 102,000 veterans live in Maine. While Maine has the 40th most veterans in its state, with 1.3 million citizens living in the Pine Tree State, that is a significant amount of the population, and Mainers revere their veterans. It is no surprise that there will be several events occurring throughout the state of Maine during this upcoming Veterans Day weekend to honor our heroes.
