UPDATE: Police Say Hampden Murder Victim Was Shot Multiple Times

The victim of a murder in Hampden died as a result of multiple gun shot wounds, according to the Maine Department of Public Safety.

Police are not yet releasing the victim's identity because some of the injuries have prevented a positive identification.

Philip Clark is being held in Penobscot County Jail on a murder charge in the death that occurred Friday at 557 Kennebec Road in Hampden.
