A fundraiser in Holden Saturday will offer family fun, including unlimited go-kart rides and mini-golf, to raise money for Camp Capella.

It's almost time for the campers to start showing up at Phillips Lake in Dedham. It costs a lot of money to run the camp, that serves children and adults with disabilities, plus they've just started an expansion that will make it possible to offer the camping experience to even more people. So a couple of fundraisers are planned for this month to help pay the bills.

This Saturday, a Family FunDay is planned at Big Jakes Go-Karts and Traditions Mini-Golf, on Route 1A in Holden. For just $10 per person, or $25 for a family of up to 5 people, folks can ride the Go-Karts as many times as they want, and can play as many rounds of mini-golf as they can fit in between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Plus, there will be a bounce house, Shrine Clowns, and discounted ice cream. Lunch will be available, for purchase, as well. All in all, it sounds like a very fun day.

Later this month, the Baldacci family is providing Mama Baldacci's amazing sauce for a spaghetti dinner. From 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 22nd, folks can dine on the delicious Baldacci spaghetti for just $5 per person. The dinner is being held at Bangor High School and all the money raised will benefit Camp Capella.
