Two juveniles are facing charges for their role in a vehicle fire at a home in Fairfield.

Members of the Fairfield Police and Fire Departments arrived at a home on Davis Road in Fairfield, at approximately 1:30 on the morning of August 18th, and found a Hyundai sedan in the driveway of a home, fully engulfed in flames. While firefighters extinguished the blaze, police were able to awaken the owner, who confirmed that the vehicle was hers and had been parked inside the garage.

An investigation by the State Fire Marshal's Office led authorities to arrest two 14-year-old juveniles, one male and one female, on August 28th. Officials say the teens broke into the garage, removed the car, and set it on fire. Both youths are charged with Burglary and Arson and released into the custody of their parents.
