A portion of I-95 continues to be closed as crews work to right an overturned truck. We've learned the cargo of live lobsters survived!

Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland says the truck went off the road in Benton early this morning. The cargo of 30,000 lobsters has been off-loaded and packed into a new truck. McCausland says all the lobsters survived the crash and are now on their way to New Hampshire and Rhode Island, where they probably won't survive dinner. Now, a crane will work to upright the truck. The wreck took place along the straight stretch known as the Benton Flats at mile 135.

The driver, Horst Puff of Greenfield, Nova Scotia said he swerved to avoid striking a car that had spun out in front of him. The truck ended up on its side in the median. Puff  and his dog were not injured in the crash. No charges are expected.

Traffic around the crash site continues to be reduced to one lane until the scene can be cleared.
