Tropical Storm Warning Issued for Downeast Maine

The National Weather Service has issued issued a tropical storm warning for Downeast Maine including Ellsworth, Bar Harbor and Blue Hill.

Winds Downeast Maine are expected Saturday into Sunday to be 20-30 miles per hour with gusts up to 45 miles per hour

With the winds, there are possibility of scattered power outages given the trees are full of leaves. Have flashlights handy, make sure electronics are charged.  Remember to steer clear of any downed trees and wires.

The High Surf Advisory remains in effect
