Two men from New York and an Augusta man were arrested Monday and charged with selling heroin and cocaine from an Augusta motel room.

Stephon Sullivan, 20, and Sammy Virella, 19, both of New York City, along with Travis Moore, 41, of Augusta, were arrested inside their motel room on Edison Drive and charged with aggravated trafficking of a schedule W drug, the Augusta Police Department said in a news release Tuesday.

A search of the room turned up 43 grams of heroin, 23 grams of cocaine and $3,677 in cash, the release said. The estimated street value of the drugs was $11,000.

Police said the men alternated between two different Augusta motels as they sold the drugs over the past month.

The suspects were transported to the Kennebec County Jail in Augusta.
