As they say in the commercial, the ground is already ssssshhhhhhhakin'!

It is time to get back out there and enjoy life again. A summer of live music, sporting events, food festivals, and other fun things to do await all of us, and one very popular event returns to town in May, that the whole family can enjoy.

Bangor will be the motorsport entertainment epicenter with the nation's most competitive Monster Trucks, as they rock the Cross Insurance Center, for the Monster Truck Nitro Tour, which hits town for three big shows, on May 13 and 14.

Check out incredible 10,000-pound, car-crushing trucks compete in racing, wheelie contests, and killer freestyle action. Plus, you can see the trucks up close and in person at the pre-show Pit Party. The highlight of the event will be Galactron vs. Reptar, and the crowd favorite, CrushStation, will be back as well.

Here is the breakdown for showtimes:

Friday, May 13th 7:30pm (Pit Party 6pm-7pm)
Saturday, May 14th 1:30pm (Pit Party 12pm-1pm)
Saturday, May 14th 7:30pm (Pit Party 6pm-7pm)

Due to reduced levels of COVID-19 in Penobscot County, face coverings are welcome but are no longer required while inside the Cross Insurance Center. Also, they are not requiring proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID test.

Advance discount tickets are available at Ticketmaster, Monster Truck Tour, or the Cross Insurance Center website

Children 2 and under get in for free, and if you are heading to the Saturday afternoon show, the kiddos will get a free toy while supplies last.
