Even though he was killing the country music game, Walker Hayes realized it wasn't worth it if he wasn't spending time with his family.

He even borrows from rapper Nelly's most famous song for a part of his chorus.

When the country star asked his wife where she wanted to go for their 18th anniversary dinner, the answer was obvious.

The Hayes family is finding peace four years after the loss of their daughter.

It was an incredible night of all-star performances.

Hayes and Guyton have both been announced as performers at the 2021 American Music Awards.

"It's funny what kids remember," he says, awestruck, talking to Taste of Country.

"Thank you for a hundred chances ... now I'm 'Fancy Like' No. 1!" he says.

Walker Hayes explains how Applebee's initially passed on "Fancy Like" for their ad campaign.

“We were watching 'Field of Dreams' one night and the commercial came on and we legit lost our minds,” Hayes tells Taste of Country.
