Two weeks ago today, on a normal trip to Petco to see what was available for Tucker, Ryleigh, Zeke and Tangie, we realized they are spoiled beyond all belief, and really needed nothing. Parakeets were then spotted and subsequently added to the family! Now, there is a small problem: what to name these two?

As the 4 legged family in our household has grown from Tangie, our beautiful Maine Coon Cat, to Tangie, Tucker, Ryleigh and Zeke...a cat, 2 black labs, and a yellow lab...all the dogs just under 8 months old, this is the conversation that I can only assume Tangie must have had with herself as one, then another and another dog began to invade her space.

You hear Cindy and I each and every weekday morning, and you may have heard us mention how neither of us took a vacation over the summer. So, how did I spend my time on my first week off in 2014???
