An Exeter man's dead and the driver who struck him, according to sheriff's deputies, said he looked down and took his eyes off the roadway. Penobscot County Chief Deputy Troy Morton issued a release this morning stating 27 year old Joseph Sweet was struck and killed just after 10:30 yesterday on Route 43 in Corinth.
