Old Orchard Beach

Is there anywhere in Maine that you wouldn't go to because it is too “touristy” (Yes, it is a word, I checked) When the question was posed on social media, it got me to thinking about how much I love Bar Harbor, and Old Orchard Beach, but maybe I don’t enjoy both of those spots as much as I should, because each time I go, there seems to be a ton of traffic and out of state visitors. Here in Bango.

From one end of the state, to the other, there are a ton of iconic, fun landmarks, to make your Instagram, or Facebook page rock...

If you had perfect summer weather conditions and could hit the beach, which one would you go to? We are beyond blessed to live in the state of Maine, well for most of the year anyway, but that having been said, summers here are the envy of many people, which is probably why so many tourists flock here to enjoy the food, the ocean, and the general laid back vibe here...

Warm weather will be here before you know it, so now is the time to make plans! We aren't quite out of the woods yet, because March can be a very cold & snowy month, but you can't help but get a little excited over the idea of summertime...

With how much Mainers love their potatoes, and how much our economy is based on 'taters' and tourists, this should be no surprise.
