The date is set, and registration is open for the 52nd Annual Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race.

The rain held off for the 49th Annual Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race, so I stayed dry. However, the boaters didn't stay as dry with high water and rough rapids.

Due to icy and dangerous conditions of the Kenduskeag at this time the annual canoe race has been postponed.

Canoe and kayak enthusiasts will be paddling the Kenduskeag Stream tomorrow in the 48th Annual Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race. Most people realize that April can be a winter month in Maine, and as a result, the race has been held in beautiful, spring-like temperatures and it can also be snowing and cold.
