Honey Boo Boo

If this is your first week learning of TLC’s 19 Kids and Counting or its star Josh Duggar, you are not off to a great start. Previously troubled by Honey Boo-Boo, the network has officially pulled the reality series from its lineup, following Duggar’s admission of incestuous molestation near of a decade ago.

As hard as you've worked to ignore 'Honey Boo Boo' and the rest of the Shannon clan from their ubiquitous TLC reality series in recent years, the network has made it that much easier, and for good reason. The notoriously reality-skewing network has officially canceled 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' altogether, following troubling reports that “Mama June” Shannon had resumed a relationship with a convicted child molester.

Honey Boo Boo made her triumphant return last night. The second season of 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' premiered last night, and we learned a lot.

I'll plead ignorance and tell you that I didn't know that Honey Boo-Boo's, Mama June, wasn't married to the man that she was living with--Sugar Bear. One thing for certain, I'm sure happy for her and her now husband for finally tying the knot...

After watching one episode of Honey Boo Boo, I've had pretty much all I can muster. To me it seems that some money-grubbing executives are exploiting the Honey Boo-Boo family. But after I read a recent article, maybe it's the other way around, and Mama June suddenly doesn't seem so simple.

'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' made its return to television last night for the first of four 'Holladay' specials that will air every Sunday this month. Last night we saw how the Thompson family does Halloween, and delved into Mama June's fear of mayonnaise. We still have Thanksgiving and Christmas to look forward to, plus a clip show.

This makes a lot of sense -- it's a sculpture of Honey Boo Boo, made out of 25 pounds of garbage. We see some I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, and a box of spaghetti. Looks like maybe some Snuggie packaging is in there too. After numerous clips of Honey Boo Boo's shenanigans, including feigned narcolepsy while chatting with Dr. Drew and a hyperactive freakout on a local news show, we've finally figured out what's wrong with her -- she's possessed by demons!

America’s obsession with ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’ is one of those weird things we just have to accept and (willingly) join in witnessing the ridiculous hilarity. Luckily for us, Alana and Mama June Thompson have been on a slew of news-related shows recently, and in true sassy fashion, the six-year-old has always brought crazy antics along with her.

Little miss Alana Thompson is at it again. Dear ol’ Honey Boo Boo is unknowingly cracking us up again with her Southern kid ‘tude and sassy faces.
