For anyone sick of the same-old-same-old each awards season, the nominations for the 2016 ACM Awards felt like a cleansing rain. New artists replaced old in several key categories. Additionally, the structure of the show changed. Some fan bases have reason to complain however, while others feel their efforts have been justified.
Chris Young celebrated his latest No. 1 hit, "I'm Comin' Over," with a huge party honoring himself and his co-writers, Corey Crowder and Josh Hoge, on Monday night (Jan. 11) in downtown Nashville. The song was the debut single from and is the title track of Young's fifth studio album, and even though the singer has six previous chart-topping hits under his belt, this one is particularly special.
As it turns out, Chris Young is not comin' over — at least, not right now. The singer has been forced to re-schedule the final 2015 dates of his I'm Comin' Over Tour due to illness.
