Suspect From NH Most Wanted List Caught In Maine
A woman who was on the most wanted list of a New Hampshire county was apprehended in Maine.
34-year-old Lace Meatty of Rochester, New Hampshire had a warrant out for her arrest from the Strafford County New Hampshire Sheriff's Department. Maine State Police arrested Meatty on the afternoon of April 5th at a house in Lebanon.
Meatty was listed on the Strafford County Most Wanted website and had a warrant for Unlawful Possession of Fentanyl. She was taken to the York County Jail, where she's being charged as being a Fugitive from Justice. Meatty will be extradited back to New Hampshire at a later date.
This is not Meatty's first time on New Hampshire's Most Wanted list. Patch.com reports she was also a fugitive in 2017, having escaped from supervision after being arrested on bail violations. The original charges included drug possession and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. In that case, she was located hiding under a stairwell in Rochester, New Hampshire.
