A 17-year-old student faces a terrorizing charge after several concerned students reported he made threatening remarks last week.

The male student confronted by school administrators and the school resource officer on March 9. The student was found to be in possession of a knife and was removed from school grounds, according to the Brewer Police Department.

Last week, a former student was removed from Bangor High School after an altercation. School and police officials later put out a statement saying they found "no evidence of a threat."

In response to last month's shooting at Parkland High School in Florida, many Bangor-area schools are joining a walkout on Wednesday in support of tighter gun control laws.
