Snowcon Maine is a Weekend of Family Gaming Fun

We're talking old school gaming.

Each year, Snowcon Maine gives residents who are already tired of winter a chance to sit around a table and interact face-to-face with others.

The featured games range from checkers to Dungeons and Dragons, and everything in between. Seriously. If you want to take your favorite board game to Orono this weekend and set up a game with others, you can do it.

It's a cool event that invites people to have fun in person, instead of online.

Snowcon Maine Badges and Game Tickets Can Be Found on Their Website

Snowcon Maine is celebrating its Sweet 16th birthday, and will be held at the Black Bear Inn and Convention Center in Orono on Saturday, January 17th, and Sunday, January 18th.

You will need to go online to buy a badge and tickets for some of the games. While the badge will cost an entry fee, the 'tickets' for the games are free. It's the organizers' way to save your place at the table.

Find more information on the Snowcon Maine website.
