Sleet, Freezing Rain Headed To Bangor, Eastern Maine Monday Morning

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for much of eastern Maine in advance of a storm headed through the region Monday morning.

Thew winter weather advisory will be in effect from 5 a.m. to noon on Monday.

The forecast is calling for snow and sleet accumulations of up to one-half inch and ice accumulations of up to one tenth of an inch.

Forecasts are calling for difficult travel conditions for commuters on Monday morning.

There is also a coastal flood advisory for Washington County.
