Producers of music videos have been a little bit more creative with artists' music videos. I don't know about you, but all the effects and flash can take away and distract from the message of the song and artist. Honestly, sometimes a simple approach makes the best video. That's exactly what happened to Sheryl Crow's music video to her new song, 'Callin Me When I'm Lonely.'

The idea is straightforward. She's obviously at Honky Tonk Central in Nashville, Tennessee, and it's the middle of the day by the looks of the busy street in the background. Crow is introduced and she comes from the back of the room as fans greet her as she walks to the small stage where her band has already started the song. Perfect!

By the way, her new release is off her 'Feels Like Home Album,' which is worth picking up or downloading.
