Several Injured In Calais Single Vehicle Accident

At least three people were injured in a single-vehicle crash in Calais overnight.

WABI-TV reports at least one of three people taken to the hospital after the early morning crash suffered serious injuries. The accident happened shortly after midnight on Route 1 in Calais. Four people were in the vehicle when it hit a utility pole, knocking down wires.

Officials have not released the identities of anyone involved in the accident.

Police continue to investigate the crash to determine what caused the vehicle to leave the roadway.
