State Fire Marshal Identifies Victim of Robbinston House Fire
A house fire in Robbinston on Wednesday night has claimed the life of a man.
UPDATE: The State Fire Marshal's Office has identified the deceased as Wayne Morrill, 66 of Robbinston, and the cause of death as smoke inhalation. Officials say the fire started somewhere near the kitchen and entryway to the house.
The fire in a single-family home at 88 Ridge Road in Robbinston was reported at approximately 6:00 Wednesday evening. A 66-year-old man was found deceased and his body sent to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. An autopsy will be conducted to determine his cause of death. The victim's name not been released.
Now, investigators with the State Fire Marshal's Office are working to determine the cause of the blaze.
