A Facebook group called Quarantine Kitchen is looking for participants' best pasta, pizza, and pierogies recipes.

The page was started by Bangor-area chef Brian Ross, and is a fun way for folks to share recipes and show off their culinary masterpieces, from the comfort of their homes. I'm a member and have found some awesome ideas for new dishes. As a matter of fact, I even shared one of our favorites. (although it wasn't my own recipe)

Now, participants are being invited to take part in a cool competition that they can enter from home. All they have to do is create their favorite pasta, pizza, or pierogie recipe, take a picture, and upload it, along with the recipe. Tag it with pasta, pizza, and pierogies, and then get their friends to like it. On Wednesday, April 22nd, a winner will be chosen and named a Culinary Ninja. The winning recipe will be featured in the upcoming QK cookbook and will be recreated, produced, and presented by one of a team of professional chefs.

So tie on your apron, grab your mixing bowls, and get started. I can't wait to see the entries, and try my hand at some of them in my own kitchen.
