Public Safety Dispatcher Charged With Possession Of Child Porn
A public safety dispatcher from Auburn has been arrested and charged with possession of child pornography.
Department of Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland says the State Police Computer Crimes Unit received a tip that 43-year-old Eric Kramarz was communicating over social media with young girls. Investigators say he was using Twitter to contact girls around the age of 13 and had obtained sexually explicit photos from some of them.
Detectives have reviewed the computers he had access to at the Public Safety dispatch center in Gray, where he has worked for the past 16 years and found nothing inappropriate. His cell phone has also been seized and will be analyzed.
Kramarz is charged with possession of child pornography and is currently on paid administrative leave.
