Maine State Police are asking for the public's help locating a Princeton woman, who's wanted in connection with theft and burglary charges.

With help from the public, State Police were able to identify 20-year-old Taylor Smiley from surveillance images taken during a camp burglary on November 6th, 2018. Also identified from those images was 20-year-old Michael Phelps of Princeton.

A few days later, police seized a television from Phelps, and located a single-shot 410 gauge shotgun at an Indian Township residence, both of which were stolen from the camp. Phelps pleaded guilty to Theft of a Firearm and was sentenced to 3 years in prison, with all but 6 months suspended, and 3 years probation.

Smiley has been indicted by a Penobscot Grand Jury for Burglary and Theft and an arrest warrant has been issued. Now, State Police are asking for the public's help locating the woman, who's believed to be in the Princeton area. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Troop E barracks at 9207) 973-3700.
