Portland Man Found Guilty of Killing Sister’s Boyfriend
A Portland man has been found guilty of murder for the shooting death of his sister's boyfriend.
Mark Cardilli, Jr. waived his right to a jury trial, and so the case was decided by a judge, who rendered his verdict Friday morning. Cardilli was accused of killing Isahak Muse, who was dating his sister. WGME-TV reports the suspect admitted shooting Muse with a handgun, but claims that Muse assaulted him first. He said the incident happened when his parents asked Muse to leave the house, and he allegedly refused.
There's no word on when Cardelli will be sentenced.
