Police say they have arrested a suspect in connection to a fatal accident on Monday in Woodstock.

The accident happened along Route 26 in Woodstock early Monday afternoon. A car struck the rear end of a second car, causing it to lose control and overturn. The driver of the second car died in the accident. That person's name has not been released, pending notification of family.

The car that caused the crash left the scene and was later found in Woodstock, but the driver wasn't with the vehicle. Maine State Police and the Oxford County Sheriff's Office asked for the public's help with any information about the accident that could lead to the location of the driver. They've named Ethan Rioux-Poulios as a person of interest, and the Sun Journal is reporting that he's been arrested.

This accident remains under investigation.

We'll update this story as more details become available.
