Police say poor road conditions played a role in a single-vehicle rollover crash Monday night in Castle Hill.

Stephen Barker, 57, of Chapman was traveling east on Route 163 when he lost control of his 2006 GMC pickup truck, Maine State Police said in a news release Tuesday.

The vehicle left the roadway and struck a snowbank, causing the vehicle to rollover and come to rest on its roof.

The vehicle sustained significant damage in the crash.

The release did not say if Barker was hurt in the accident.
