Police Identify Woman Killed in Wayne Head-On Collision
Investigators have released the identity of an 84-year-old woman, who was killed in a head-on crash in Wayne over the weekend.
The Kennebec County Sheriff's Office says the accident happened early Saturday afternoon on the Pond Road. A vehicle driven by Blanche Fyler of Wayne collided with an SUV. Fyler was killed in the accident, while the occupants of the other vehicle, 83-year-old James Thompson and 81-year-old Catherine Thompson, also of Wayne, suffered severe injuries.
